Overview:
This is an app for signing Zip, Apk, and/or Jar files onboard Android devices. The results are also automatically zip-aligned. Use your own keys, select from the built-in keys (media, platform, shared, testkey), or use auto-key selection modes.
Similar to jarsigner, signapk, and keytool, this app can be used to sign update zip files, APK, or JAR files using one of the four built-in certificates, or with your own private keys. ZipSigner can also create keystores, keys, and self-signed certificates.
The built-in keys will appeal to themers and modders. The ability to sign with your own private keys will appeal to developers.
This app does not require root privileges.
This app is the replacement for the original ZipSigner app. The original no longer receives updates.
