AMD announced the release of AMD/ATI Catalyst 12.3, the biggest news of this new release is that Catalyst 12.3 now fully supports the AMD Radeon HD 7900, AMD Radeon HD 7800 and AMD Radeon HD 7700 series of products, this release also come to fix several issues including AMD Catalyst Control Center startup issues/ delays, Tom Clancy HAWX and Furmark Benchmark are no longer crashes.

Open terminal and enter the follow commands:

wget http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/amd-driver-installer-12-3-x86.x86_64.run
chmod +x amd-driver-installer-12-3-x86.x86_64.run
sh ./amd-driver-installer-12-3-x86.x86_64.run

When installation is done. Run this command:

sudo aticonfig - initial-f

Then reboot

sudo shutdown -r now

or

sudo init 6

0 How to Install ATI/AMD Catalyst Linux Driver 11.6 in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal?

When it comes to VGA cards... Nvidia and ATI are the dominating manufactures of GPUs (graphical processing unit). Unlike with a CPU where you don't have to install any "driver" since the operating system (GNU/Linux, MS Windows, etc) Kernel contains optimized drivers by default... a GPU can be a bit tricky.

Although Intel has a long range of their own GPUs which are also quite powerful but still when comparing with the ATI and Nvidia, they're slightly behind. But one thing about the Intel graphic cards is that, unlike with Ati/Nvida, Intel has a bit of an open minded approach.

This is because they give a lot of information about the architecture of their GPU, etc for Kernel developers which enable the GNU/Linux Kernel developers to easily embed and create GPU/VGA drivers of their own without having to depend on Intel for updates and bug-fixes.

Unfortunately this not is the case with ATI and Nvidia drivers since they refuse to give information regarding the GPU structure, etc which is an essential if you want to embed their GPU support to the GNU/Linux Kernel.

And as a result, now if you want the optimum performance from your ATI/Nvidia GPU (which you should since Unity and other desktop heavily use the 3D acceleration of your GPU), then we have to wait till the manufactures fix them.

Enough "complaining", lets get busy.

Now recently AMD/ATI released a new update to their Catalyst Linux "version" which makes it now the 11.6. If you use Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal, you can install the Catalyst 11.6 quite easily by following the below steps.
1. First we have to download the driver it self. So open your Terminal and enter the below command.

 cd ~/; mkdir catalyst11.6; cd catalyst11.6/

 wget http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/ati-driver-installer-11-6-x86.x86_64.run

 chmod +x ati-driver-installer-11-6-x86.x86_64.run

2. Now lets create an executable .deb package by entering the below command in your Ubuntu Linux Terminal.

sudo sh ./ati-driver-installer-11-6-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/natty

3. Finally issue the below command which should install it in Natty (hopefully :P).

sudo dpkg -i fglrx*.deb

Now we have successfully installed the AMD/ATI Catalyst GPU driver in Ubuntu 11.04!. See, how easy it is learning to use Linux, fast! :D.

Update: although this may not be necessary for all the users but after the installation you may also want to run the below command to update the X.org file (the one that's behind the most basic GUI windows system known as X-Windows in GNU/Linux). As said, most wouldn't need it.

sudo aticonfig --initial -f

Install applications network-manager-gnome:

Change the configuration content of network-manager:

0 IDM on UBUNTU Flatform

Who is not familiar with this one application downloader "Internet Download Manager" or more popularly known as IDM ... How to run IDM on Ubuntu [distro that I use] or another linux distro you use, do not so hard really :). You need only install Wine_1.5.0 and also download and install IDM_5.05 applications as usual using Wine

Install Wine
It is called the Wine project for linux. After installing it on Linux, it'll let you run most of the softwares that are built to run on MS windows on your newly installed linux distro!. So before installing IDM, you have to first set up wine on ubuntu  Now first...
1. Don't be afraid and start your Linux terminal first

2. Then issue the command below:

sudo apt-get install wine

3. Now when asked give your password and it'll automatically install all the necessary packages (Note- this may take a while since the it is a little over a hundred MB's.....)

After the installation finishes it'll add its own menus to the Gnome/KDE desktop task bar menus for ease of access. Now whenever you want to install a ".exe" file under Linux just right click on it and you'll see a newly added menu called “Open With Wine Windows Program Loader”.

Now just go to your IDM downloaded package (setup file), make sure to have a bit older version 5.18 (build8) or lower one, it may or may not be able to run the latest version....

1. Right click on the setup file and from the menu choose the above stated "Open With Wine Windows Program Loader" from the menu.

2. Now as in windows just follow the instructions and when in confusion just select all the default settings

3. Click finish at the end.

Now if everything went well you'll see that "beautiful" (hurray!!!) looking IDM icon on the Notification area on linux. Now functions such as automatic URL grabbing might not work but you can always copy and paste that URL manually into the IDM GUI or use the "Drop Target" feature.

Yaya Sanogo is one of wonderkids on FM 2012, there are many other talented young players in this game, but the development potential of this young talent depends on the method of training and playing opportunities provided by the manager.

Although it is a good talented young players in the portion of his training (training schedules) but that is rarely given the opportunity to play the potential development will be slow. So the primary key is a chance to play on the team. Here I have listed a selection of young players should be taken into consideration for admission on your squad, you do not need to record one by one the names of these wonderkids because I make it in the form of file shortlist. just download and then import the shortlist in your team.

On the shortlist that I made, my players are divided into four groups:
1. Group recommended the player with the four stars or more.
2. Group recommended the player with the three stars to three and a half stars.
3. Group recommended the player with the two and a half stars.
4. Group recommended the player with the two stars.

For groups one and two should be a top priority and are given frequent opportunities to play, because these players are likely to be core players on your team in the future, while groups of three and four might be good enough as a backup player in the future. Players in all age groups ranged from 20 years and under and there are some who have entered the age of 21 years at the first time you make a New Game.
Entering the shortlist in the game
1. Extract the file you have downloaded.
2. Move all four files in the directory ... \ My Documents \ Sports Interactive \ Football Manager 2012 \ shortlists
3. Create folder if none exists shortlists.
4. Run the game and then click Name Manager menu> Search> Shortlist
5. In the window menu click shortlist Shortlist> Import Shorlits> Click the name of the file> Select
6. Because there are four file shortlist repeat step 5 until all of them succeed in the import (see picture)

To ensure that players are pretty high recommended by your scout staff, so it's good in the first scout. and in order not to waste time when menscout scout players then all was well by one of your scout staff by pressing Control + A then right click, highlight the menu Scouting> Get scout report> select one scout staff> click the report card only . Repeat this for other groups shortlist and select the one other scout staff to menscout other groups. (see picture)
